Lions Camp

Lions CampThe Glendive Noon Lions Camp is a privately owned facility within the boundaries of Makoshika State Park.  The property consists of two camp locations that are available for individual or group use.
The A-frame, Makotahena, is located on one of the highest  points in the Park and is a popular venue for parties, retreats, weddings, receptions and family reunions.  The A-frame is a modern style lodge that provides a loft sleeping area that will accommodate 30 people comfortably.  There is a carpeted living room area, a dining room and a full-service kitchen.  There are modern restroom facilities in the A-frame including men's and women's restrooms with showers.  Guests are treated to panoramic views of the badlands landscape from the large redwood deck.
Sleepy Hollow is a series of cabins nestled in a pine-studded hollow on the Lions Camp property.  The main cabin has a kitchen and dining area, while the sleeping cabins provide rustic overnight accommodations.Lions Camp
The 160 acre complex is located approximately 5 miles from Glendive and is accessible only through Makoshika State Park.  Due to the remote location, travel is limited during the winter and wet seasons.
